You can register for the Virtual Congress until 12.30pm on Sunday 12 September.

To register, visit the official EURETINA website, www.euretina.org.

EURETINA Members must login to the Members Resource Area of the EURETINA website to avail of the member fee. 

Non-Members should create a new account to register.

To retrieve your password, go to the virtual meeting login page and click ‘Forgot Password’ You can re-set your password immediately.
Please note, you will be redirected to the Registration Platform. Once you have reset your password, you will need to go back to the Virtual Meeting login page to login to the meeting.

You will receive an email confirmation which includes your payment invoice and information on accessing the virtual meeting.

When you have completed payment, you will be directed to your registration summary which includes the link to the virtual meeting.

An email will be sent in the days preceding the virtual meeting with this information and instructions on how to access EURETINA 2021 Virtual.

On Sunday 12 September, a short survey will be emailed to all attendees. Upon completion of this survey, you will receive a PDF Certificate of Attendance by email.

Yes, the Congress has been awarded 16 CME credits by the UEMS.

Yes, CME credits will be awarded to all delegates who attend the Congress between 9 September and 31 October 2021.

You can access the Congress platform and visit the Industry Zone on Wednesday afternoon, 8 September, before the official programme starts on Thursday 9 September. We strongly recommend that you log on to the Congress platform early so that you can familiarise yourself with the layout of the Platform and optimise your Congress experience.

Yes, all presentations will be in English.

Central European Summer Time (CEST)

Unfortunately, no refunds are possible once a registration is completed. The content of the Congress will be available to all registered delegates until 31 October 2021.

For the best possible congress experience, connect from a laptop or PC. You can use a mobile phone, but due to the size of the screen your congress experience may be diminished.

You should have at least a 1.4 Mbps (megabits/second) internet connection.

Chrome and Firefox are recommended as the most stable and consistent browsers. Set your browser zoom level to 100% (and adjust as necessary).  

Please note that multiple simultaneous connections using the same email address are not possible.

You will arrive at the main congress ‘Enter’ page – this will lead you to the congress lobby which will look similar to the entrance hall at a live congress.

There is a clickable link from the Main Lobby to the Live Sessions where all congress rooms are located. You can also use the Navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.

There will be an Industry Zone where you can visit individual Profile Pages of our Industry Partners.  All Profile Pages are customised so that each company can decide how they share information with delegates – e.g.  Managing a live chat box or Creating 1 to 1 meeting rooms as well as providing downloadable company information or linking to a company symposium.

You can visit the EURETINA Resource Centre, and you can become a member or discuss the benefits of becoming a member.

You can ask a question in every session by clicking on the Q&A tab on the screen. Many sessions will have a dedicated question and answer discussion period at the end of the session. Click here for the full schedule.

Yes, all content will be available on ‘Playback’ until 31 October.

The Playback Sessions can be accessed during and after the Virtual Congress by using the ‘Playback Sessions’ button inside the virtual lobby/homepage. It’s also available via the top menu bar, which is always visible.

Free papers, posters and videos are all available to view via ‘Abstracts’.  There is a button on the homepage below the Welcome video as well as in the top menu bar, which is visible at all times.

The content of the Congress will be available to all registered delegates until 31 October 2021.

Yes, once you are an EURETINA Member, you will have free access to all previous congress content through EURETINA On Demand.

Yes, when you are logged in to the congress platform, you can see other attendees who are present and can have a text conversation with them. Additionally, delegates will have the opportunity to join bespoke Networking Groups, dedicated to focussed discussion on all the main topics within retina, such as AMD, VR Surgery, Imaging and more.

The virtual Delegate Congress Bag has been populated with documents/literature which you may find of interest.

During congress open hours there will be a Help Desk where you can message your query to the relevant department – e.g. if you have a query relating to the programme or if you are having problems navigating the congress platform.
