Video Competition abstracts will be considered for display at EURETINA 2021 Virtual
Each applicant may submit a maximum of 2 Video Abstracts.
Each application must indicate whether the presenter, or any of the co-authors, has a financial interest in the subject matter or receives funds from any mentioned company.
On completion of your abstract submission, you will be sent an automated confirmation email. Please check your junk folder if you do not immediately receive this email.
» If you choose to submit an abstract(s) we will use your personal details to keep you updated on its status including whether it has been accepted for presentation at EURETINA 2021 Virtual. If your abstract(s) is accepted for presentation at the virtual meeting your contact details (name and email address) will be sent to a third party Audio Visual Company (M-Events) in order for them to contact you in relation to uploading your presentation.
» If you choose to submit an abstract, you confirm that you own all of the material used and/or obtained the right to include the third parties’ material in the presentation.
All submitted abstracts will be reviewed before final selection is made with submissions ranked according to their average score.
Specific topics that need to be covered in the congress programme will be taken into account when making the final selection of accepted abstracts. The decision of the Euretina Programme Committee is final.
If your abstract is accepted, you will be informed of this by email in June 2021.
» All submitted abstracts must be in English and follow the structured format below:
Title (250 characters max)
Purpose (500 words max)
Setting/Venue (200 words max)
Methods (500 words max)
Results (500 words max)
Conclusions (500 words max)
All abstracts MUST be submitted in the presenting author’s name.
Financial Disclosure: Please indicate any relevant financial disclosures
» The total duration of the videos, including title and credits, must not exceed 8 minutes.
» The video must include a narration, music alone will not be accepted. You must have permission to use any copyrighted material in your video submission.
» The title and narration of the video must be in English.
» You will be contacted by the EURETINA Programme team to upload your video via Dropbox by 3rd May.
» Accepted videos will be displayed on EURETINA On Demand after the virtual meeting.
» The video entries will be judged by members of the EURETINA Executive, and prizes will be awarded for the top videos at the discretion of the judging panel.
» Each author may submit a maximum of 2 Video abstracts.
