Abstract Details



Purpose:

To determine the prevalence & the treatment outcomes of ocular TB among retina patients

Setting:

Tertiary eye hospital in Western India

Methods:

Retrospective cross sectional study of ocualr TB cases seen over a12month period with follow up of 12 months.all cases underwent systemic investigations to confirm TB. All cases were treated for TB for 9-12 months.

Results:

Most common presentation was vitritis followed by retinal vasculitis,choroiditis, panuveitis & scleritis.

Conclusions:

Ocular TB has a varied presentation, which should be kept in mind in cases where the clinical diagnosis might be in doubt.
