Abstract Details



Purpose:

To detect any changes occurred in ganglion cells layer and inner plexiform layer thickness in amblyopic eyes

Setting:

Magrabi eye hospitals and centres -Riyadh- SAUDIA ARABIA

Methods:

14 amblyopic eyes examined by spectral domain optical coherence tomography,macular-cube strategy and ganglion cells layer analysis mode to detect any changes occurred in ganglion cells layer and inner plexiform layer thickness

Results:

21%of the amblyopic eyes showed significant decrease in ganglion cells layer and inner plexiform layer thickness

Conclusions:

There is change in ganglion cells layer and inner plexiform layer thickness in some amblyopic eyes
